Mbala Mbala is the name given in the local Kikongo dialect to the guardian of the forest.
Due to the high population growth, difficult socio-economic conditions faced by the inhabitants in the area, pressure on the remaining forests in the city is extremely high.
Respect for the natural ecosystem and biodiversity conservation are the best guarantee for a better water management and increase resilience in the community.
Therefore we’ve chosen with Mbala Mbala to protect the remaining forests. To achieve this we provide advise to the caretakers of the forest and we try to provide help to the surrounding community.
